Collective for Development of Youth Culture (DRMK in Slovene) is a voluntary collective of young people whose aim is to bring forward and realise cultural initiatives. DRMK has launched over 80 successful events in the last 10+ years, called "Youth Actions", and we are always working on more initiatives. Among the actions were nine international festivals of experimental music and noise (Noise festivals), concerts of music groups from different countries, video projections, and a two-day art workshop followed by exhibition at an old castle. Our activities are done in a non-profit, non-commercial way and involve young people who otherwise might not have a chance to perform and take part in events such as these. In our projects we do not include only groups from the area of Ljubljana, but from the whole of Slovenia and abroad (Europe, USA, Japan, Australia, South America).
We will not stop our actions, because we believe that there are not enough alternative music and cultural events involving creative young people in the area of Ljubljana, Slovenia and the world. With voluntary work, enthusiasm and cooperation we do not close our eyes, but keep launching concrete actions and projects.
